This was a very interesting project. We decorated just about the entire inside of this beautiful 3 storey, 5 bedroom house right on the edge of Ashdown Forest. It was actually only built in the 1930's and was full of very dark varnished beams and doors. We sanded or sand blasted all the woodwork and then finished all the wood with a natural white wood wax which gave it a misty look and brightened the house considerably. We painted all the walls with Earthborn Claypaint. We also carried out quite a lot of other work, such as building shelf units, rehanging doors, plastering over the stone fireplace.
