The previous owners of this house had painted many areas in Trompe L'oeil, painted illusions or tricks of the eye. The current owners weren't so keen! We decorated the master bedroom first, adding a bold printed wall paper behind the bed head and painted over the wavey pattern on the wall. In the living room we had to completely sand the walls before they could be painted, as they been coated with a wall glaze. We also applied a beautiful bold wall paper to just one wall, covering over the fireplace that had been painted on the wall.

We painted the bedroom with Earthborn Clay paint and living room with Biopin Emulsion, the latter is more hard wearing which was necessary in the living room with small children.
